Examination of Nursing Students’ Medical Error Attitudes within Three Different Educational Models

Objective: A cross-sectional comparative study was exposed within three Turkish public universities. This aims to examine nursing students attitudes towards medical errors who are trained different education models and determine factors that affect these attitudes. Methods: personal educational conditions questionnaire the Medical Error Attitude Scale were used. All (n=1242) agreed participate in research from second, third fourth year of universities included sample. Results: It found with integrated model problem-based learning had higher scores on than classical model. In subscales Scale, a average score “perception” “causes” subscales. statistically significant difference at levels training. Additionally, it mean second error perception subscale. Conclusions: The findings emphasized there is between educated by models. can be suggested all models, patient safety trainings should given effective practical level. this way, results may help integrate clinical practice.
